The Latest Technology – What is GPT4?
The advancement is not over yet! In mid-March 2023 GPT4 was launched and a lot of enthusiasts started to throw incorrect and misleading information on the market.
GPT-4 is a cutting-edge language model that boasts impressive multi-modal capabilities, allowing users to interact with it using different mediums. In addition to responding to text-based queries, GPT-4 can also describe images, making it a versatile tool for various applications.
Recently, GPT-4 has undergone professional academic benchmarking, which is a significant development in the field of language models. Furthermore, it has demonstrated exceptional performance in human tests, such as SAT Math and medical knowledge self-assessment programs, among others.
There has been a lot of speculation on GPT-4 such as bold quotes saying that it will outperform 100 trillion parameters. However, Open AI CEO has strongly denied these statements.
Although it is confirmed that GPT-4 does not have much more data than GPT3, there were still major improvements recorded in its enhanced capabilities. These include refined creativity, stronger coding skills, problem solving and writing skills (in-depth articles and stories as examples).
GPT-4 is also capable of handling over 25,000 words of text, allowing for use cases such as long form content creating, extended conversations, document search and analysis.
GPT-4 Vs GPT-3
This section lays out 7 key areas of improvement recorded by GPT-4 when compared to its predecessors.
- Natural Language Improvement: GPT-4 is expected to enhance its ability to understand and respond natural language input. This is expected to result in more accurate and relevant responses. While GPT-3 has demonstrated its capability to answer questions and prompts in a human-like manner, GPT-4 is anticipated to offer greater accuracy and relevance, making it a more valuable tool for customer service chatbots and personal assistants.
- Factually correct: GPT-4 is expected to bring significant improvements in text generation, including the ability to generate factually accurate content with a higher level of coherence and fluency. While GPT-3 has already shown remarkable progress in generating human-like text, GPT-4 is expected to push the boundaries further and deliver even more realistic text.
- Integration of text to images and videos: GPT-4 will integrate with other technologies such as computer vision allowing the model to comprehend and produce text related to images and videos. As a result, GPT-4 will be able to generate captions for images, summarize videos, or even create scripts for movies.
- Multilingual: Another potential attribute that has been incorporated into GPT-4 is its ability to handle multiple languages, thereby facilitating real-time translation and cross-lingual communication. This capability could have significant impacts on industries such as e-commerce, customer service, and translation.
- Energy-efficient: GPT-4 is likely to be designed with greater energy efficiency, which can mitigate the environmental impact of AI. This is especially important given the growing demand for AI services.
- Multi-cultural viewpoints: With GPT-4, we can look forward to a more diverse and inclusive AI model. Say goodbye to biased algorithms and hello to a technology that speaks all languages, including sarcasm. This could make it more useful as a tool for natural language understanding and machine translation, as well as making it a more inclusive technology overall.
- Handle Data like Tables, Graphs and diagrams: GPT-4 is poised to handle structured data like a pro, leaving no pie-chart, graph or table unturned. This AI model is about to show us that there’s more to life than just words. This will allow GPT-4 to generate more informative and analytical text, making it more useful for data visualization, scientific writing, and research.
How to Make Money with GPT-4
The number of use cases for GPT is endless. However it is very important to note that most AI tools (including AI marketing tools) launched on the market every day are making use of the GPT model in one way or another.
To take a few examples, AI writing tools such as Chat GPT, Jasper or Content at scale are already exploiting GPT-3 and will be using GPT-4 to improve their offering.
The number of technologies we’ve seen with GPT-3 were great, but the technologies we are expecting with GPT-4 are going to be game-changers. Here are some mind-blowing ideas that can be handled by GPT-4.
- Turn sketches into fully working apps and websites: A video went viral of a guy taking a photo of a sketch he did on a piece of paper (which could barely be read), feeding it to GPT-4 and in a few seconds a website was created – only from the sketch.
- Build working video games in minutes: GPT-4 is a great coder in many languages and can create a basic game for you in many coding languages. Here is an example where GPT-4 created Pong using Javascript.

- Build a working Chrome extension in a few hours: Still not convinced with GPT-4 coding skills? GPT-4 also created chrome extensions. The following is an example of an extension created writing the code and fixing all errors that came up. This is an official example from Open AI website.

- ContextGPT-4 can accept a prompt of text and images: It can understand what’s going on in images, such as the input of the below image. GPT-4 clearly understood what’s going on in the image, even taking into consideration the humorous aspect of it

This is what was described by GPT-4.
The image shows a package for a “Lightning Cable” adapter with three panels.
Panel 1: A smartphone with a VGA connector (a large, blue, 15-pin connector typically used for computer monitors) plugged into its charging port.
Panel 2: The package for the “Lightning Cable” adapter with a picture of a VGA connector on it.
Panel 3: A close-up of the VGA connector with a small Lightning connector (used for charging iPhones and other Apple devices) at the end.
The humor in this image comes from the absurdity of plugging a large, outdated VGA connector into a small, modern smartphone charging port.
- Use Duolingo’s new GPT-4 powered features to learn a language faster than ever: Duolingo turned to OpenAI’s GPT-4 to advance the product with two new features: Role Play, an AI conversation partner, and Explain my Answer, which breaks down the rules when you make a mistake, in a new subscription tier called Duolingo Max.

GPT-4’s Access and Availability
While GPT-4 is not yet widely available to the public, there are ways of accessing it early. If you have a Chat-GPT Plus subscription, you can try out GPT-4 already. However, for most people, access to the model will be limited as OpenAI researchers will gradually roll out its availability.
Developers who have contributed towards exceptional model evaluations and training will be prioritized for access, as they are more likely to utilize the model to its fullest potential. As more people gain access to GPT-4, it is likely that we will see a new wave of innovative applications and breakthroughs in natural language processing.
Conclusion
Compared to GPT-1, both GPT-2 and GPT-3 represent significant improvements in terms of the quality of generated text and the range of tasks that the language models can perform. GPT-2 was already highly impressive in its ability to generate coherent and high-quality text, but GPT-3 takes this to a new level with its significantly larger number of parameters and greater range of capabilities. What we’ll be seeing with GPT-4 in the coming months is still to be discovered. At this point we believe that no one really knows the full potential of this latest technology, but we are pretty sure that it’s going to leave us flabbergasted!
